St. John's Bath Bomb Co. Review + GIVEAWAY

08:22

Who doesn't love a good bath? If I am feeling a little stressed, nothing calms me down more than a bubble bath and a good book. I have been known to create playlists on Youtube as well but I find it most rewarding when I unplug and unwind from a busy week.

Bath bombs are all the rage these days and for good reason. They are deliciously scented balls of goodness that turn boring baths into a pool of coloured fun. I was lucky enough to receive a box of goodies from St. John's Bath Bomb Co.

I tried the cucumber, lime and mint bath bomb a few weeks ago when I was suffering from a sinus infection and it was so soothing.

I also gave the orange crush bath bomb a go. It smells good enough to eat and I love anything citrus scented. This one is my personal favourite.

There is also fizzing bath salts, which are a great option if you want to prolong the use of these products as you can use this for several baths.

Word on the street is that she may offer body butters in the future. Check out St. John's Bath Bomb Co. Instagram page for more info that.

You can also check out her Etsy page if you would like to order some of these wonderful, handmade products.

I'm going to be giving away a St. John's Bath Bomb Co. bath bombs this month. All you have to do to enter is follow the directions below. You can enter by following me on Instagram, subscribing to my YouTube channel and commenting on this blog post for the possibility of winning a one month bath bomb subscription.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lipstick Review

10:00

Last month I received the most exciting parcel in the mail - Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lipsticks. My sweet friend Chani who lives in London sent them to me and I was beyond excited to try them on. These lipsticks are not the easiest things to get in Canada. Though a Feel Unique order may be in my future.

Look how beautiful these shades are! The packaging is perfect and the gold packaging gives them high quality feel.

From left to right: Happily Ever After, Birthday Cake, Wild Safari and Big Kiss

I know you want to see them swatched! How could you not? And please excuse the chicken flesh! My room was so cold. Brrrrr to winters in Newfoundland and stormy nights.
Since I'm new to this blogging thing, I tried on these lipsticks twice. One for the blog and the second time for my video. Thank goodness for chapstick because these lips are hurting now. Okay, back to the pictures!

Of course this photo is inspired by Tanya's blog post showing her lipsticks.
What else would you do on a Friday night but try on these lipsticks? And yes, I'm having too much fun.  Here is the shade birthday cake.

Next, I try on Happily Ever After - a subtle pink with a touch of coral. P.S. Excuse these brows. Mona needs to get them fixed. Real bad.

Move over pink and enter red! Though pinky nudes are great for everyday use, there is NOTHING like a show stopping red and these two red shades will blow you out of the water with the creamy, balmy texture.

Meet Wild Safari. The perfect red for any occasion. Its orange undertones tame down the red. Tame. See what I did there? You are about to go on a WILD ride with me and this blog.

The final red is my personal favourite and one I have seen a few bloggers and YouTubers wear. It's called Big Kiss and Meg Says wears this red often and it looks AMAZING on her fair skin tone. Don't know who I'm talking about? No worries. Here is her channel! If you are a lover of British Youtubers, you are in for a real treat. You can thank me later.

Here it is on me.

Girl, you got some on your teeth.
Much better!

Will you be trying Tanya Burr's lipsticks? What lipstick was your favourite?

Thanks for reading! xoxo

Hello & Introduction

17:54

Hi friends! I'm so glad you stopped by. I've decided to make the leap and start a blog! I've been contemplating this forever and I'm finally doing it. I plan to use this platform as a way to journal my thoughts on beauty products such as lipsticks, mascara, skin care products and essentially all things beauty. I also will feature the occasional recipe, talk about my favourite restaurants, sites you need to check out and share with you places I've travelled. If you're nosey like me, you came to the right place.

I have a YouTube channel as well. Feel free to check it out and if you'd like to subscribe, I'd be over the moon. Literally, you'd make my night/life.

I'm excited to start blogging. Stay tuned because my next post will feature Tanya Burr lipsticks. YAY!
